Anne Hathaway Is Catwoman!

Anne Hathaway Is Catwoman!

Oh I like this! Christopher Nolan who is set to direct the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, announced today that he has cast Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in the film!
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story.”
Anne’s star certainly seems to be on the rise! I think she’ll be incredible as Catwoman! Nolan also revealed that Tom Hardy has been cast to play villain Bane;
“I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”
Christian Bale of course will play the title role in the movie. So what do you think about Anne Hathaway donning the famous Catwoman catsuit?!

Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, And Keira Knightley Competing For ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Role

Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, And Keira Knightley Competing For ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Role

With production on ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ set to begin in May, the search for its stars is underway. Rumor has it that Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Keira Knightley, Kate Mara, and Gemma Arterton are all under consideration for the female lead.

Christopher Nolan reportedly is expecting Anne, Jessica, and Keira to complete screen tests this month. The only thing that’s unclear is if they are testing for the love interest or the female villain.

Hmm..which of these leading ladies would make for a good love interest opposite Christian Bale? I wonder if Maggie Gyllenhaal will return as Rachel? Or maybe Katie Holmes will come back?

Anne Hathaway and James Franco To Host The Oscars?

Anne Hathaway and James Franco To Host The Oscars?

Deadline Hollywood is reporting that ‘Love and Other Drugs‘ star Anne Hathaway and ‘127 Hours‘ star James Franco will host the Academy Awards next year.
I’ve just learned that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has asked James Franco and Anne Hathaway to host the Academy Awards, and it “looks like” both young stars have accepted the offer. There is always the chance that one or both of them might back out because of prior commitments and other concerns. But my sources say the host announcement could be made as soon as this week…
What’s most unusual about their hosting is that both thesps may be Oscar nominees themselves in the fiercely competitive Best Actor and Actress categories this awards season…

I don’t know… the comedians often seem to have trouble being as funny as normal when they’re hosting the Oscars, but I think I’d rather see them try, at least. What do you think:
UPDATE: It appears that both actors have accepted and it’s a done deal. The official statement:
“James Franco and Anne Hathaway personify the next generation of Hollywood icons— fresh, exciting and multi-talented. We hope to create an Oscar broadcast that will both showcase their incredible talents and entertain the world on February 27. We are completely thrilled that James and Anne will be joining forces with our brilliant creative team to do just that.”

Quote Of The Day: Anne Hathaway

Quote Of The Day: Anne Hathaway

“I think most people who have made it to 28 can relate to finding it difficult to let love in. Finding the right person is only half the battle. It’s not enough to be gifted at loving; you have to be gifted at receiving love – and that can be really tough.”

Anne Hathaway: ‘Being Skinny is Not Sustainable, Not Advisable, Not Enjoyable’

Anne Hathaway: ‘Being Skinny is Not Sustainable, Not Advisable, Not Enjoyable’

Anne Hathaway, whose weight fluctuated visibly in the past years, shares a few weight and beauty image-related thoughts with us:
My identity used to be shaped on my appearance so much. I don’t think I was shallow – I just think I was young. I focus on other things a lot more now. I’ve hit the point in my life where I understand that being skinny is not sustainable, and nor is it advisable, and nor is it enjoyable,’ she said.

‘From the age of 25 to 27 – and this is a little embarrassing to admit – I looked under my eyes every single day, because I thought, “It’s going, it’s going, it’s going! And then I realised the other day they’re not wrinkles; they’re smile lines. If you look at pictures of me from a young age, I’ve been smiling the same way since I was little. And I had that wonderful moment when you realise, “That’s who I am.” Botox would erase that.’

Anne Hathaway Dishes On “Love & Other Drugs”

Anne Hathaway Dishes On “Love & Other Drugs”

She’s quite the versatile actress, and Anne Hathaway is excited for everyone to see her new movie “Love & Other Drugs.”

The “Get Smart” gal told press she really turned up the heat for the flick, adding a dimension of sexuality she hasn’t shown before.

Anne shared with FOX Pop Tarts, “It’s racy – very racy. I keep asking people if it is too sexy for them. However it is just part of the job.”

“That being said, it is intensely mortifying taking your clothes off in front of other people, but it is also intensely mortifying doing a lot of things in front of people and I’ve learned how to deal with that. Who knows if I will ever do it again, it depends on the material.”

Anne Hathaway Does Vogue and Brings the Quote of the Day

Anne Hathaway is Vogue’s covergirl this month and she wows us with her big smile and elegance. Here’s a little quote from Anne:
On aging in Hollywood: “I’m entering a new phase of my career where the stories are becoming a lot more specific about where the character is in her life,” Hathaway says. “People don’t always want to tell stories about women in their 30s and 40s and 50s. Obviously, some of those ages are pretty far off for me, but I know it’s coming. What I’ve observed and what I’ve imagined—and definitely what I’m hoping—happens as you get older is that there’s a mellowing, an acceptance that comes with time,” she says. “I guess that I’ll find out.”
… says Anne in Vogue.

Anne Hathaway Talks “Love & Other Drugs” with Vogue

Anne Hathaway Talks “Love & Other Drugs” with Vogue

She has quite the range of characters in her portfolio, and Anne Hathaway's latest gig has her stripping down and doing sex scenes.

The “Princess Diaries” actress gets freaky with her “Brokeback Mountain” costar Jake Gyllenhaal for “Love & Other Drugs.”

Anne explains in Vogue magazine, “This movie certainly has a lot of nerve. These are people who have no trouble taking their clothes off -- in a way, their bodies are their currency. But they're terrified of exposing their vulnerability, of becoming emotionally naked.

And the raunchy lovers’ romps were almost too much for her to handle. "I was a wreck from start to finish. I think I cried every single day. I had to lean so much more heavily on everyone around me than I'm used to. I’m used to pulling my own weight. But I totally fell apart." (Hollywood Gossip)

Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway, And Liv Tyler Are Possible Credit Card Fraud Victims

A Beverly Hills salon owner is being accused of ripping off several high profile celebrities by making unauthorized charges to their credit cards. Maria Gabriella Perez, owner of Chez Gabriella Salon, has allegedly racked up $280,000 in charges on her clients' credit cards over the course of a year.
"fraudulently [charging] approximately $280,000 worth of charges in a one year period."
Among the celeb clients mentioned in the affidavit: Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway, Liv Tyler, and Melanie Griffith. Liv is reportedly the one who got hit the hardest with over $214,000 charged to her account!

They're probably an easy target for fraud because they most likely don't handle their own bills and why would an accountant question it, right? Hopefully it all gets straightened out quickly.  (imnotobsessed)
