She’s no stranger to making hit records, and Katy Perry has just released her new single “E.T.” featuring none other than Kanye West.
The “California Gurls” songstress looks to have yet another chart topper on her hands, and having the “Love Lockdown” rapper on the track certainly doesn’t hurt.
It has been a big week for Katy, who was spotted giving a killer performance on the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday.
Ms. Perry brought her handsome hubby Russell Brand as well as her grandmother to the big event.
Arriving ahead of her highly-anticipated performance, Katy Perrywas spotted at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 13).
The “Fireworks” gal looked spectacular as she worked through the red carpet area alongside her "Arthur" actor hubby Russell Brand - with the pair sharing a big smooch for event photogs.
During press interviews ahead of the energetic performance, Perry explained, "I'm going to do a really cool, heartfelt song that I really love and show a different side. I think I'll do a medley of sorts ... but not too much. It'll be quite a surprise."
In other news, Katy Perryrecently opened up about not singing for the rest of her life. She told, “Like, I want to have kids! I’m totally fine with saying that. I think some people are scared because they’re worried it’s going to ruin their career, but I want to live a full life.”
Adding more excitement to the anticipation of her upcoming dance track “E.T.” – Katy Perry has released a photo of herself in the costume she dons in the video.
Revealing the picture via Facebook, the “Firework” gal is posing with blunt bangs, a heavy cat eye and a pleather and fish-scale sequined top.
She wrote, "Here's a sneak peek of the artwork for 'E.T.,' the next single off 'Teenage Dream'! Stay tuned for a new music video and remixes coming soon."
Of the actual song, Katy Perry explained, "This next song is about falling in love with a foreigner, like far away ... not even in England."

Katy Perry adds that her wardrobe is a production in and of itself. She does wear some crazy tight clothes when she performs!
“There will be a medley of looks, and they’ll be very strong. When I get changed during a show it’s like I’m at a Formula One pit stop. There’s Velcro being ripped off and stuff getting strapped onto me.
“On my ‘Hurricane’ tour I wore a different outfit every single night. It was crazy, and not cheap.”

“I’ve said Justin Bieber was my celebrity crush quite a few times, but I think I’m over it now. I think it’s probably safe to say I married my celebrity crush.”
Well I’m sure Russell Brand is glad to hear that- LOL. Katy also gives tips on how to be sexy.
“The way she presents herself and the air she has about her. You can feel her power and her confidence. Also, the way she uses her ability to communicate, her brain and personality. I think that’s really sexy because you all know the hottest woman can be the biggest bitch, and that’s cool.”
That makes sense to me! If you’re shrinking and slouching trying to be “invisible,” you won’t have a sexy vibe.
Russell Brand Likes Playing Stylist For Katy Perry
Katy Perry is known for her, um, fitted costumes for her performances. That apparently won’t change now that she’s a married lady, especially if her husband, Russell Brand, has anything to say about it! (He clearly doesn’t share Katy’s management’s concerns ).
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Russell is very hands-on with all Katy’s dresses and loves giving his opinions. He always tells her to show off what God has given her. Russell now really gets involved with what Katy wears. He gets a buzz helping with those decisions.”
Russell himself has admitted that the couple influence each other’s style choices.
“I would like to endorse that idea. I think I’ve started to wear more colors and she’s started to go darker. She’s started to dress less like a pantomime character and is a bit more sexy – a bit grown up.”
These two really are meant for each other, aren’t they? LOL
KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball looks like it was the place to be, especially for the tweens and teens! Katy Perry attended the event (which do you prefer: the purple dress here or this gold one?), along with ‘Jersey Shore’s’ DJ Pauly D.
In addition to Katy and Pauly D, Selena Gomez, Ryan Seacrest, Joey McIntyre and AJ McLean, and ‘The Bachelorette’ couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez were also on the guest list. Wonder what’s up with Ali and Roberto walking the red carpet separately?
Yesterday, Katy Perry showed up for the GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live! in LA wearing a tight gold dress. She has a great body and she LOVES to show it off, but this can’t be the most flattering look she’s ever worn. And don’t you wonder if Katy can even breathe wearing something so form fitting?!? Beauty is pain, right?
I wonder if Katy was actually performing for the concert or only there as a guest. She always rocks it out on the stage so I hope if she sang, we get to see a video!

Did Russell Brand Come Between Katy Perry And John Mayer?
It must have been fate, because just the day before Katy Perry met Russell Brand at the MTV VMA’s that Brand happened to be hosting, she met up with Mayer the night before at Gold Bar in NYC.
E!Online reports that Mayer and Perry had been texting and flirting but hadn’t met in person until the night before the VMA’s. That night they met up at a bar and seemed to hit it off.
“John thought she was so hot and fun and was into her,”
“They were so flirty and all over each other that night at the bar, they really liked each other. Their personalities just clicked and they were flirting and dancing and it was on.”
But the next night the VMA’s happened, and Brand, who was hosting the event, made no secret of his crush on Perry. And the rest, as they say, is history! Whew, Russell Brand and Katy Perry are such a cute couple – I’m pretty sure if she had met up with John Mayer that night she wouldn’t be a married woman right now! She might have a song written about her though!

Once again, the ladies of Victoria’s Secret brought their A-game for the 2010 Fashion Show tonight (November 10) in New York City.
Adriana Lima was the lucky gal who got to wear the $2 million Bombshell Fantasy Bra, decked out in 142 carats of diamonds, topaz, and sapphires.
Also on the runway were hotties like Alessandra Ambrosio, Selita Ebanks, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jessica Stam, and Lily Aldridge.
And providing the musical entertainment for the gig were Katy Perry and Akon, while hotel heiress sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton turned up for the VS festivities - which air on December 30th at 10pm on CBS.

Taking place at the La Caja Magica, the "Waking Up in Vegas" hottie rocked a cute little ensemble as she took the stage to collect her Best Video trophy for "California Gurls".
As for the show, the 2010 installment of the EMAs was hosted by Eva Longoria with a digital host appearance by Justin Bieber.
Meanwhile, performers gracing the stage during the annual ceremony aside from Miss Perry included B.o.B., Shakira, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha and Linkin Park, among many others.

Perry, who recently tied the knot with Russell Brand, told MTV News, "People are coming back and almost adopting it as their own anthem, and it's hard, I think, to write an anthem that's not cheesy."
"And I hope that this could be something in that category. I hope this could be one of those things where it's like, 'Yeah, I want to put my fist up and feel proud and feel strong,'" the pop star added.

As wedding gifts to each other, Perry bought Brand a baby elephant, while Russell hooked his new wife up with a Bengal tiger named Machli.
Katy and Russell’s rep told press they were "overjoyed to confirm that they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on Saturday, October 23.”
"The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couples' closest family and friends was performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of the Hudson Family. The backdrop was the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India."
